    Hi @Anonymous

I'm not seeing an official page from Microsoft on 2016, but the Microsoft Server 2022 pricing is as follows: (seems to be a $5,000 difference)

    Hello, @Anonymous !

How much will a Windows Server VM cost?
Usually I would refer you to the Azure Pricing Calculator, the Azure Marketplace page, or even the Virtual Machine Pricing Page but you'll notice that on all of these resources, Windows Server isn't explicitly listed. Instead you'll find variations of Windows OS.

The OS cost for Windows Server varies based on the number of cores on the VM, may be reduced by the Azure Hybrid Benefit which allows you to bring your own license, and all costs may vary based on location, but you'll see during VM creation in the portal that all versions of Windows Server have the same hourly cost.

This means that if deployed in the same location on the same hardware, Windows Server 2016 will cost as much as Windows Server 2022 and Windows Server 2019 Datacenter will cost as much as Windows Server 2022 Datacenter Azure Edition.

The same price listed for Windows Server 2019 Datacenter and Windows Server 2022 Datacenter Azure Edition
