Create collection based on discovery data and not hardware inventory

Hi,

Is there a way to create a collection based on discovery data before a hinv runs?
Operating System Build is listed in discovery data and i need to create a collection based on that asap before the client gets around to running a hinv.

Yes you can do this, there are no tricks to this. Just create the query using discovery data.
