IDC can't connect to the aks internal pod.

I've connected idc and azure vpn s2s
All VMs in the vpn gateway vnet are RDP accessible. Even the aks node pings fine.
However, I cannot connect to the pod that comes out as aks internal nginx.
The static routes needed to connect are done...

There are dozens of Windows PCs in IDC,
IDC is private api domain needs to look at the aks internal nginx ingress controller through private DNS. -
