Hello.

I have a policy in place that copies some files from a server to the 'default desktop' folder. This policy has been working fine till very recently.

Now this policy fails with the following error.
"The computer preference item in the 'Copy desktop files' Group Policy Object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x800703ee The volume for a file has been externally altered so that that opened file is no longer valid.' This error was suppressed."

This policy has been in place for well over a year and just recently started to fail. I thought maybe it was a permissions issue, but I don't understand what might of changed to cause that. My internet research hasn't really brought up anything helpful.

This is a key policy for us in our setup of new laptops, any help would be most appreciated.
