Any API or SDK for Microsoft Authenticator?

Is there any API or SDK for Microsoft Authenticator? We just want to do an approval on user's device in our system before do a specified step, not in login process, but after user logged in, just do one step required user to do approval on her/his mobile phone.

Just like DUO does.

    Did you tried to explore Biometric and PIN feature if that helps for additional auth process? -
