Hi, I've got a client that's had an email forwarder set up for years that has suddenly stopped working. Here's a sample error:

Contacting cPanel they just pointed me towards this article (https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/1500001300822-Queued-mail-for-delivery) but it just says it's down to Hotmail and to contact them to resolve.

Is anyone able to help at all please? It would be much appreciated.

Hi @John Ulotti ,
To narrow down the root cause of the issue, could you please provide us with the following information:
Does the emails being queued are the ones sent to Hotmail addresses only?
Any changes that took place on your computer before this issue occurred?

Besides, we suggest that you try sending an email directly on Outlook.com.
Let us know the result and please provide the required information.

Hi, emails sent to ******@chesterplastering.com automatically get forwarded to the hotmail address through cPanel.

Sending from my email account (or another hotmail account) to ******@chesterplastering.com they don't get delivered (stuck in this queued for delivery status) but emailing direct to the hotmail address works.

Note that this is nothing to do with my computer, the question is why hotmail has suddenly stopped delivering the emails sent to info@ and what can be done to resolve it.

Thanks for the detailed explanation, from your description, the mail sent directly to hotmail is successfully, while it cannot be delivered through mail forwarders, so it may be
the email forwarder that cause the problem, please kindly understand the tag” office-outlook-itpro” which mainly focus on general issues about Outlook client.
