Hello

Please i need your help on this issue.

We have students creating inappropriate posts, we have since muted the student but have tried several times to delete the message.

It appears to be deleted then an hour later it reappears. We have deleted it on one laptop and it has replicated on a 2nd laptop, but when 3rd user logs in it is still visible for them on the web browser, even after clearing the cache.

This is the students messaging policy.

    Hi @IBN

According to your description, I have the following questions to confirm with you:

    1. Does anyone else have the same problem in your organization?
    2. Did the student recover the message on his own?
    3. Does the administrator or team owner delete messages have the same problem?

We have deleted it on one laptop and it has replicated on a 2nd laptop, but when 3rd user logs in it is still visible for them on the web browser, even after clearing the cache.

If someone re-adds you to an ongoing group or meeting chat that you previously deleted, you’ll see the entire chat history again.

To prevent inappropriate messaging behavior, many schools enable supervised chat. You could learn more through this article.
