Hi there,
I have a VPN on my device to make me connect to enterprise source data(SQL database).
in my case, i wanna connect from VM using self-hosted integration runtime without using my VPN installed on my device.
to better understand my case i want migration my data from source to azure synapse to store data in ADLgen2.
i want to use the virtual network(VN), inside VN i create a sub-net that included my VM it has integration runtime installed in it

    Kindly elaborate more what you mean when you say VPN installed on my device?

    From your requirement, it seems you want to migrate data from SQL database (which in some private virtual network) to Azure Synapse. You can do this by installing self-hosted IR on your private network machines and then using that self-hosted IR in ADF.
