If I deleted a message quickly, does it still get emailed to people who were offline?

I did a test in my environment , if you send a message to offline people and delete them, the offline people will only get the notification but cannot see the message you deleted.

It's removed service-side, so unless they are logged in at the time the message was removed, they will not be able to see it. Email notifications are generated with some delay, so if you are "quick" with the delete, no email notification will be sent.
