Hello @XynoBob ,
If you resize to B2s before free 750 hours is exhausted, then the VM will start charging. In that case, as you mentioned, if it runs for 24 hours then the credits will exhaust by 3 months.

So this is my first time using Azure. I am currently subscribed to Azure Student, and to my understanding the Linux VM is free for 750 hours when B1s is used. If I were to resize it to B2s, does the 750 hours still applicable? Or am I able to use it 24x7 until my $100 credits is totally used?

Hello @XynoBob
Thank you for the question.
You can deploy 2 B1S VMs (one Windows, one Linux) and run it for 750 hours for free of cost. This might be 24 hours a day up to 750 hours or the total 750 free hours spread across 12 months period time (by turning it on only when used) is up to your choice. Below is the eligible VM size for student credit subscription.
When creating the free VMs you have to ensure you choose the image size and OS disc size (free account eligible P6 disk) that meets the free criteria as mentioned below.
You will start seeing charges when any one of the below scenario occurs:

I hope this information helps.
