WSUS computer membership issue

Question

I setup a new WSUS, all computers are under 'Unassigned Computers', I created new computer groups, but I can not move the computers from 'Unassigned Computer' to my new computer group, when I right click on the computer. The option is 'greyed out', Why?

Thank you, Adam.
In options>computers the 'use group policy or registry settings on computers' was selected. I changed that to ' use the update services console' and the change membership option became available. Thanks
