Excel VBA Worksheet_Change Event Is Not Triggered When Last Row of Table is Deleted!

Simple to recreate with a single MsgBox in the Worksheet_Change sub and a table with two rows. Deleting all but the last row triggers Worksheet Change, but deleting the last one does not. There are no application events disabled. Only one line of code. A MsgBox.

2022-10-01T04:16:30.17+00:00 How can it be that no Worksheet_Change event is triggered when the last row of a table is deleted. Can't anyone explain this?
