Sharepoint search results language settings

Question

Although regional settings for our intranet are UK English (see attachment 1) for search results we are getting US style spellings and date format (see attachment 2).

Is there a way for administrators to change the search results settings to English style?

Microsoft does not support change search date format in the SharePoint modern search.
