We have a system with BitLocker Enabled. The system requested a recovery key and we entered the correct 48-digit recovery password based on the provided Recovery Key ID. However, after entering the recovery key, it says "Failed to unlock with this recovery key" may I know how to solve the issue and how we get the file on the disk if the recovery is not working?

    Hello there,

You can try the below steps and share your results.

You need to have access to the computer as an administrator to perform the following. Here are the steps:

    Launch Control Panel.
    Click on System and Security.
Click on BitLocker Drive Encryption. This will launch the BitLocker configuration panel.
Select the drive that you want the BitLocker Drive Encryption to be turned off for and click on the Turn Off BitLocker tab.
There is going to be a message flashed on the display informing you that the drive will be decrypted, and that it is going to take some time. Click on Decrypt the drive to start the decryption process. BitLocker will be turned off for the particular drive.
