Can any one please help me in the following exception which has been raised.
System.InvalidCastException

How do you add the interop reference, via nuget or add com library? Do you installed the office in your computer? If so, what is the excel version?

I have added the interop using Microsoft excel library in Visual studio.
Yes, I do have installed in my computer which office 2016 -

2022-09-29T07:00:40.927+00:00 @Machi Lakshman R , thanks for providing the information, many people has met the problem in the question Unable to cast COM object of type Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.ApplicationClass. You could try to repair your office2016 and restart your computer to check if you still exists the problem.
