Hi, after how end user PC was updated to version Windows 11 22H2 22621.521, network supplicant of Windows 11 not recognize this option from my Active Directory GPO:

It's a result in This Windows 11 22H2 22621.521, this signed is "greyed" GPO included and also without GPO.
I couldn't to turn it on. Maybe this option is disabled or something like that in this version or maybe it's a bug ?
My idea is also maybe new additional service must be turned on.
I don't have idea about that. On Windows 10 and Windows 11 before this update all worked correctly.

Please look below:

Greetings,

Sebastian

If this site is to be believed, the issue is with Microsoft Defender Credential Guard being activated with Windows 11 22H2 - https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000100238

I am not able to test this from my home office, but maybe it will help disabling the feature: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/identity-protection/credential-guard/credential-guard-manage

Same problem here with Windows 11 22H2 and 802.1x networks - Computer Authentication fails and User Authentication asks for username and password instead of using the existing windows username/password.
Can someone please clarify if some old setting is no longer valid? What are we missing?

I have tried disabling Credential Guard, and 802.1x authentication worked again after a reboot.

Windows Defender Credential Guard is something we would have to get used to in the future - it's not going away. So maybe it's time to leave 802.1x behind, and use certificate driven authentication instead?
