Teams freezing and slow to respond

Hello

Please i need your help on this issue

Teams is running very slowly for one of our users, we've tested across a couple of devices in Teams online and the desktop client with the same issues. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    Please try to clear the Teams cache and try again, follow the steps here:

    1. If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the taskbar, and then select Quit.
    2. Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key +R.
    3. In the Run dialog box, enter %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams, and then select OK.
    4. Delete all files and folders in the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams directory.
    5. Restart Teams.

    1. Compare the performance on both Teams desktop client and Teams web client. If the web client can log in successfully, you can re-download the desktop client.
    2. Check the CPU consumption for various apps and processes and decide if it's necessary to close some of the less-frequently-used ones.
    3. Follow the steps above to clean up the cache.
    4. If necessary, you could update the operating system.
