Static Web App - Custom Domain - domainName is invalid. The domain name given was not found.

I'm trying to add a custom domain to my static web app.
If I try using TXT I get:
domainName is invalid. The domain name given was not found.

If I try using CNAME I get:
Could not add custom domain. Please ensure the custom domain is not linked to another app or that a previous implementation is not still being cleaned up.

I had previously added this to another Static Web App, but that was deleted and now I have no way of getting back into it. It doesn't appear anywhere in the Azure Portal.

Based on the shared information, we have understood that you are trying to create the add the custom domain to the new static web app which was earlier added to another old static web app and also you have performed delete operation of custom domain on that older static webapp.

Could you please help us in sharing more information to understand, investigate and to assist you further.

Does the custom domain delete operation performed on the older static web app is successful?

Hi all,

I have the exactly same situation.

cname is correctly resolved

but the error still persists. I have only one static web app in my subscription and no more app use the same domain.
