SharePoint Online UserName Format

Question

Is the username format for SharePoint Online an email address? What about service accounts?

In sharepoint online, the login accounts of username, email address, outlook, teams, etc. of one account are all the same (default is alice@keyman .onmicrosoft.com ).
You can see uesrname in M365 admin center->users->active users.
