How to remove an Azure AD Pass through agent that is not showing as inactive

Hello,
mistakenly an azure AD pass through agent was installed on a member server. it was removed viz add/remove programs but in Azure Ad Connect health it is still listed with a yellow triangle. it is not listed as "inactive" just the yellow triangle. i have waited now 2 weeks and is still listed in Azure AD connect health. how can i remove this?

    Welcome to the MS Q&A Forum.

    Quick question, did you remove both Microsoft Azure AD Connect Authentication Agent and the Microsoft Azure AD Connect Agent Updater programs? Was the server restarted? Long time for this state is expecting, however you are saying you already waited for 2 weeks.

    yes i did remove both of those things. so i turned off the server for a few days and it still never went to "inactive" however, the "delete" that was greyed out was no longer greyed out so i was able to delete the server
