Hello

i'm using windows server 2019 to share a local raid 5 storage over 10Gbe Cat7 network (physical server no VMs) to windows 10 clients .

The problem is , when i tried to test the network speed either with BlackMagic disk speed test or iPerf3 . i noticed that i get the desired Write speed but a very poor read speed less than 60MB/s.

i tried every thing even connecting the server directly to the client over an SFP cable and still getting the same poor read speed .

The server NIC card is :

HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 530FLR-SFP+ Adapter

any suggestions ?

Regards

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having issues related to slow Share or SMB performance.

Please try Disable “Large Send Offload (LSO)”

Control Panel> Device Manager> Network Adapters> Advanced tab
Select Large Send Offload V2 (IPv4) and set the value to Disabled
Do the same for Large Send Offload V2 (IPv6) if it is available
