Hi All,

I am planning to do a POC on Managed HSM - Specifically AES keys. Can someone please point me to the pricing for the same.

I stumbled upon https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/key-vault/

Is this the correct page?

For instance if I plan to use the managed hsm offerring with say 2 AES keys for 10 hours, the pricing would be :

Hourly usage fee per HSM pool : $3.20 X 10

  • HSM Protected keys : Advanced key types1— First 250 keys : $5 per key per month X 2
Azure Key Vault

    @Bharat Shivram
    Thank you for your post!

    The URL you shared is the correct pricing link. When it comes to Managed HSM pricing/charges, you'll have to reach out to our Sales specialists for more details.

    However, from my understanding of the pricing page, you're correct - you'll be charged an Hourly usage fee per HSM pool (Standard B1) of $3.20. If you're going to store HSM Protected keys (RSA 3072-bit, RSA 4096-bit, and Elliptic-Curve Cryptography (ECC) keys), you'll be charged per the table below - $5 per key per month for the first 250 keys.

    Note: Only actively used HSM protected keys (used in prior 30-day period) are charged, and each version of an HSM protected key is counted as a separate key. See FAQs below for more details. Billing will commence from 1st November 2018.

    I hope this helps!

    If you have any other questions, please let me know.
    Thank you for your time and patience throughout this issue.
