recovering the bitlocker key

Question

Hi,

I went to my microsoft account, clicked on "Devices" ("Appareils" in French), then "More details" in clicked on "recovering me bitlocker key" (I turn in in English but I have the French version). At this moment it asked me a code that I was supposed to have received on my email address (the one I use for my microsoft account). I never received this code. I tried many many times but never received this code. So I click on the 2nd option " I do have any of this information" to see what it does, and microsoft asked me to give another email address that will be my new security information and says it will take 30 days before it is activated. I want to keep my initial email adress as security information (do not want another email address) but I want to receive the code I am supposed to receive !
As it seems to be a microsoft bug that the code is not delivered I do not think it will change the problem to give another email address.
I need to recover my bitlocker key as soon as possible as my computer is locked and requires the bitlocker key. Could you tell me howI can have it or send it to me on my email address as soon as you read this message, please ?

I do not want to change my security information : my initial email address is just fine.

If an account access problem then try resetting via the account recovery form

Hello there,

​Do you see an option to send the security code to your phone?

Open a web browser on another device and Sign in to your Microsoft account to find your recovery key. This is the most likely place to find your recovery key.

You can just go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey.

If you are unable to locate the BitLocker recovery key and can't revert any configuration change that might have caused it to be required, you'll need to reset your device using one of the Windows recovery options.

Hi,

No I do not have any other ways proposed to receive the code. The only way proposed is the email address. I tried to type another email adress and microsoft said I have to wait until october 31st for it to be validated. Then I canceled my request of changing email address.
I cliked on https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey form your message, it is the windows where the code is requested but never received by email.
I don't understand the second solution you proposed. I never asked for bitlocker key to be activated. And I did not change any security option before I have this problem.
It takes me a lot opf time to solve that. Could you help me in a quick and efficient way please ?

By the way, the cancellation of a new email address has not been registered. So I keep on having the message that I have to wait until the change fo my new email address is registered. This Miscrosoft process is just crazy, so complicated !
