We have a legacy system that requires an IE compatible browser.
The system works fine using Edge acting as IE, even on Windows 11.
It seems that installing the latest Windows 11 update (22H2) breaks this support.
This has been reinforced by the fact the rolling the update back resolves the issue.
The problem is related to functionality residing in HTC files that implement some functions in JavaScript.
Any information regarding this issue would be most appreciated.

Apart from sending a feedback, I would suggest considering replacing HTC files in your application with other measures that are in compliance with HTML5, since support for element behaviors and HTML components (HTCs) has been removed in Internet Explorer 10 standards and quirks modes for improved interoperability and compliance with HTML5.
This is a very old legacy system and such an extensive change will not be done without serious consideration.
The fact of the matter is that it worked up until the latest Windows 11 update.

You need to describe the issue in detail (similar to your description here). The aim is to make the Dev Team aware of the issue that the latest Windows update breaks HTC support, so that they can resolve the issue as soon as possible. Besides the Feedback Hub, you can press Alt+Shift+I in Edge to send feedback, where you can also provide a screenshot.
