We are trying to use Custom Security Attributes in an Azure AD B2C tenant and the button in Azure Active Directiory is disabled.

Below our current configuration:

The main tenant has an Azure Active Directory with Premium 2 licence.
The P2 licence is associated in the Azure AD B2C service.

In the Azure AD B2C, the account we are using has the following roles:

  • Global Administrator
  • Attribute definition administrator
  • Attribute assignment administrator

But the blade stays disabled.

We have noticed that the licence in the Azure Active Directory of the B2C tenant is an Azure AD Free:

What are we missing? Can you help us to enable this feature?

Thanks

    Hi,

Did you assigned the role Attribute Assignment Admin and activated for the admin user? You can check in the active assignments whether the user has definetely Attribute Assignment role.

By default, the Global Administrator and Privileged Role Administrator roles do not have permissions to read or add custom security attributes.

    Hope this helps.
