Hi Team,

I have a requirement where an ASP.Net/SQL Server application having 3 layers (UI, Business and Data) is to be migrated to Azure using R-pattern Redeploy. If after analysis we found that version of web server, db server, sql server, OS, .Net framework(not sure if it is possible at this point in time) used in the application are not compatible to be deployed in Azure, what are the steps to be performed to deploy the application to Azure using R-pattern Redeploy?

If possible please provide me with link also that explains the steps involved.

Thanks,
Salil

Since you are migrating to VMs you should be able to follow the detailed guide we have here. This allows you to replicate the data to your required VMs and also test the migration. More information and capabilities of Azure Migrate can be found here.

Hope this helps. Please review and let me know if there are any requirements or issues with migrating using the suggested method.
