Our Language Services team at NI (National Instruments) also uses Microsoft Custom Translator in Trados 2021 through the MT Enhanced plugin and are also experiencing the same issue. The plugin works for a while, so we know the credentials are correct, and suddenly starts failing with this error message.
Microsoft Translator 2M characters - usage in Trados Plugin 'MT Enhanced using Microsoft Translator' fails
I have subscribed to 'Microsoft Translator 2 million characters' and use a plug-in for the CAT tool 'Trados' (MT Enhanced - Microsoft Translator). It works at first, but after about 10 minutes at the latest it issues the error message "An error occurred when using the translation source MT Enhanced using Microsoft Translator: The request is not authorised because credentials are missing or invalid.“ I suspect it has something to do with the "Subscription Region", because it cannot be set in the plugin (only "none" is possible). When I try to set "Western Europe", "Access Denied" appears. Could you please help me?

2023-09-16T11:29:29.11+00:00 I am in Trados 2022, and I am experiencing the same problem even with the new plugin. It works for a while, and then it stops working. It's a very annoying situation since we can not relay on Microsoft translator to do our work, and we loose a lot of precious time to try get it working. RWS support team has proposed several solutions, but none of them have proved to be efficient.
We will really appreciate your help on this.
