Hi, we need to install new MECM 2207 secondary site with primary site server having DB hosted on local SQL Server 2014 Standard. I guess due to the latest of version of MECM 2207 in primary site, during secondary site installation SQL Server Express 2019 would be installed on secondary site server. If so, will DB replication between primary and secondary site work normally - I know that MECM does not use SQL replication but have to ask.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi, @Bojan Zivkovic

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on my experience, the DB replication between primary and secondary site will work normally even thay have different SQL Server version. SQL Express version is the best choice for secondary site.

2207 (5.00.9088) is not a baseline version. So you will install version 2203 (5.00.9078) and then in-console update to 2207.
