Hi there,
although possibly simple, I need some help on howto connect a network drive/folder to a MS Teams channel.
Background:
In the Teams channel, creating/renaming folders etc for a structured storage of files works well. The same applies to connecting a sharepoint. 
Question:
I would like to additionally connect a network folder/drive. More specifically I mean to do the exact same thing as "mapping" in the file explorer, ie to have a connection to the respective folder in the File Explorer of Windows without the need to search or retype the network address - except that this is not in File explorer but in the file view of Teams.
Any proposals?

I am not aware of connecting a network mapped drive into MS Teams. The Files explorer connects to a SharePoint Online Site.
If you would like to sync the "Files" tab to your file explorer, you may sync it using OneDrive:

As above said, If you want to manage the files and folders access with explorer, we’d suggest you use OneDrive sync client, it will shows all files and folders in File explorer. For more details, you can refer to this article: See and manage your OneDrive files.

Thank you. Obviously there is currently no option for connecting a network mapped drive into MS Teams.
Something to possibly be implemented in the future, as it would certainly further strengthen the interconnectivity, making accessing information more smooth.
