I understand that you were trying to add a deleted custom domain on your Azure Front Door after two days of the previous profile deletion but you were receiving the following error: 'We couldn't create your custom domain. Another custom domain with the same host name already exists.'
We took this issue offline, created a support request and I checked the backend logs but was seeing the same error as above.
Then the support engineer had a remote session with you and found that you were using http in the domain name itself which was causing issue when using http:// in the URL. Post removing the http prefix, the issue was resolved.
