AOA,
I hope all of you are feeling well!

Problem statement: As per your documentation subscription the default expiration time for a presence subscription is 1 hour. We have been using this functionally for 8 months, and it works fine for us. but in the last 3 days, we have found an unexpected behavior in the subscription update API. means that when we hit the subscription update API it only increases 5 minutes in the expiration time instead of one hour. its means that the renewal process (subscription update API ) is not working fine.

Please help us in this area and please check the below screenshot for more details.
Thanks in advance

Create subscription time.

After the subscription update API for expiration time it's just updated 5 minutes.

If you want to increase the expiry time, could you please specify the date and time in UTC when the subscription expires. For the maximum supported subscription length of time varies depending on the resource.

please see the doc for more details - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/subscription-update?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http#request-body

    Hope this helps

    Thanks
