This topic has been discussed in many places but i can't seem to find a good and definitive answer/solution for it.

I have a Kinect 360 (v1), and i'm looking for a way to use it as a webcam in Windows 10. I have the Kinect for Windows SDK 1.8, which makes the Kinect visible to certain apps like OpenNI. Other apps like Discord (desktop) and Skype (desktop) see the Kinect as a webcam but just output a black screen out of it. I know there are some ways to bypass it using a virtual camera (like in OBS or OpenNIU), but none of them turns it into a 100% actual webcam, not being recognized by many apps as it.

Is there any kind of driver for the Kinect 360 so windows 10 recognizes it as a proper camera in all apps (like any other regular camera)?

Unfortunately, Microsoft ceased manufacturing the Kinect sensor and Kinect adapter in 2017, so outside of using the Kinect as a webcam, there is not much else you can use the Kinect sensor
