Windows 11 Task Bar Location

Question

I updated to Windows 11 a while ago and had my taskbar setup to be at the top of the screen, but Windows did an update and reset it to be at the bottom and now I can't get it to go back to the top. I've tried the Registry Editor hack that worked before multiple times but it's not working anymore.

Please note that MS has disabled this feature. You have to use either a hack or a third party product to get it to work. Here are some links to this common question.

With latest insider preview build (DEV) there is no more ANY WAY to move the bar in other location of screen.. with my current setup ( Samsung G9 C49G95 monitor 49" ) i have a bar that is 1 meter long completely EMPTY... i use it to drag'n drop images and videons on softwares pinned to it... and i need to move it on left or or right...
i hope that Microsoft will add the ability to move the bar (or reduce it) to not take space for my work.

very very unsatisfied about current layout.

In windows 11, taskbar can be set at center at bottom, or leftside at bottom.
