You need to format the SSD and go for a clean installation.
I change my system ssd to a windows to go accidently
I wanted to use my laptops system ssd in my new PC. However I linked it as a USB device accidently, and I did not realized it was changing to windows to go -- I realized this situation after checking a lot of website. Now I can use this ssd as windows to go by USB, when I link it by sata port to mother board, the "inaccessible boot device" coming. I don
t know how to withdraw it.
I prepare to use a new ssd as a system hard drive, and going to migrate data to the new one, and I wonder if the new one will also be a windows to go.
Plz help me ; (

Thank you for your question and reaching out.
I understand that you're having issues booting Windows on your new SSD. I would suggest removing any external device such as USB drive when you install the new SSD to your PC. Once it is installed internally, you may install Windows system to it by using a USB drive then you can change the boot priority back to SSD afterwards.
