Hi there,

Quick question. The Bing Ads API docs state you should create an app in the Azure Portal to use the API.
Checking the available APIs in the Azure Portal I do not see the Bing Ads API or something similar listed as available APIs to request permissions for.

Is the Bing Ads API enabled by default? And if not, what API should I be selected from the "Request API permissions" overview?

Thanks in advance,

Tiana

Sign in to your account on Bing Webmaster Tools. ...
Add and verify the site that you want to get information for through the APIs, if not already done.
Click on Settings button on top right corner and then go to API Access section

It provides services such as web, image, maps, and video, etc. Bing Ads is the name of their advertising service but recently was renamed 'Microsoft Advertising' in 2019. This is because Microsoft's ads can now serve on Bing, Yahoo, caldaia elettrica MSN, and AOL networks.

Finally got an answer and the API is indeed enabled by default.
