Chrome browser does not send device information with Windows Account extension installed to CA policy

I am looking at a conditional access policy which blocks access for all devices which are not managed by MDM. The policy is based on a filter, which excludes those which are managed. This works fine for access via Edge but fails when using Chrome. I researched this and found an article to say install the Window Accounts chrome extension. I have deployed this and it is installed ok but still no device information comes through from the device, this then blocking the device.

What am I missing in this configuration?

    Hello @Jacqui Hurst (Admin) ,

Could it be the operating system with conjunction with the browser doesn't send the device information?

    From the same article:

I saw in the past when CA was working with Edge on the Windows 7 and didn't work in Chrome.

    Sincerely,
    Olga Os

The problem may be in the type of operating system as it is not compatible with it

I am also facing the same issue with Chrome browser. OS is supported, Windows Account extension is installed and enabled but still access to Office365 applications is blocked.
