Power BI Premium per user

Question

Hello,

I used few years ago "Power BI Premium" and I found it really useful. I didn't have the detail of the licence's name, juste "Premium". After changing job, I want to work again on Power BI and I am looking to get a similar licence. But I am confused with the two different Premium licences that I see on Microsoft website, and I am not sure that "Power BI Premium per User" (the only one I can ask for in my new organization) could answer my needs.

Could you tell me if, with Power BI Premium "per User", I will be able :

• to share my reportings and applications to colleagues that do not have any PBI licence ?
• to download, merge and edit multiple tables online on PBI service, and then download the product for my reportings ?

No you cannot share your Power BI reports to people without a PowerBI license unless you share it publicly. If the report is private you most likely will not want to share that data with externalities.

Yes, with this license you will be able to use the PowerBI Pro features online and then download the Power BI reports.
