Unable to unblock Teams contact

Hello

Please i need your help on this issue.

User sees someone blocked in MS Teams, but they receive the error "We are unable to unblock this person at the moment. Try again later."

when they try and unblock from any (web, iPhone, desktop) client.

Did you do any operations before this issue occurred?

Does anyone else have the same problem in your organization? If it's just a specific user, you could try disabling and then re-enabling it to see if it works.

Is this question persistent, and how long has it been?

Any advice how to unblocked it via Teams Administrator Portal or via powershell?

Messages go through for other users, just not the user that was blocked. I ended up opening a ticket with MSFT and turns out it was a bug in our DoD tenant.

I recommend you go to https://admin.microsoft.com/ and open a ticket with Microsoft Support as there might be an issue with your tenant.
