Hi,

In the multi user Authorization features introduced via resource guard for the azure recovery vault, in the documentation it says that it protects against ransomware attack. I only see it protecting against critical operations, but not against ransomware attack.
I am aware some new preview features are coming for azure backup, but i am taking about what is globally available right now.

How does MUA feature enable to detect and protect against ransomware attack ?

@MS Techie Thank you for posting your question on Microsoft Q&A platform. Apologies for delayed response!

MUA does not help you detect ransomware attacks. It offers better protection against threats including ransomware attacks by protecting these critical operations (like you mentioned) from being misused for deleting data if, say, one of the admin’s credentials are compromised or if the attacker has got access to certain resources.

    Hope this clarifies!
