Main Laptop Monitor Dropping Framerate with certain aplications

Question

After my computer had restarted my secondary monitor was the one being treated as the main, I opened the computer and then changed my main display to my main display. After I had done this, certain applications such as OBS, and games like minecraft, would have extremely laggy framerates when on my main desktop. The issue did not happen if the applications were moved to my secondary monitor, but i do not use the secondary monitor in this way. I have also found that the brightness hotkey does not respond for whatever reason.
I have tried changing refresh rate, restarting computer, restarting without monitor connected, which worked until the monitor was connected again.

This is the Second time this issue has come up while on Windows 11, only last time it only affected one application, which I stopped playing due to this issue.

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused it happened because of background Windows update the Windows default display driver got overwritten with Brand Hardware Display Driver, Mostly Brands for best performance from there Hardware to do that brands provide their own unique Hardware updates time to time which you’ll need to install manually from Brand website you can do it by Going to brand website for example let say your Display is by Samsung, so you’ll need to search “Samsung Display Driver for ‘Monitor Model name’ ” and then install latest driver from official site and then restart your system while keeping your Main Display connected.

Note :- If you check from Device Manager it may show you Driver up to date because it is checking for WIndows Display Driver status.
