Hi,

I want to check if machine is sending its updated software metering data regularly.
There is a lastHWScan date for HW Inventory, and LastScanDate column for SW Inventory. I am looking for similar lastdate when software metering data was sent by a device.

Also, is software metering data is related to Software or Hardware inventory? There are machines where either hardware inventory or software inventory last date is null i.e. SCCM never processed hw or sw inventory data for these machines.

SW metering data is not related to either HW or SW inv.

SW inventory should be turn off or turn down to every 21 days.
HW inventory should be set to daily.

If you are NOT see HW last date, then it likely means that your inventory is not working correctly.
Here is how to check your HW inventory. https://www.recastsoftware.com/resources/updated-troubleshoot-configmgr-hardware-inventory-issues/

    Hi, @Mudit

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

The view v_GS_SoftwareUsageData, v_MeterData, v_MonthlyUsageSummary have the metering data you may refer to, below is the link for your reference:
