Why do SSH connections via IPv6 break when the system goes into sleep mode?

As described here

https://github.com/zellij-org/zellij/issues/1781

I have issues with SSH connections when using IPv6 after Windows 10 goes into sleep mode.

client_loop: send disconnect: Connection reset

This is really strange. SSH connections with IPv4 are not affected. I also tested with several keepalive parameters for SSH.

I tried to disable this power save option in the device manager for this interface but this brought no change.

I have now also done a test from my Linux system: I can bring down the interface wait a minute and bring it up again. SSH connections survive this.

What could be the reason why SSH connections with IPv6 do not survive sleep mode?
