How do i remove SharePoint 2010 on the network but still have it running on the server?

currently no one has access to Sharepoint 2010 on the network ( removed permissions)

but its still available .. how do i make this only available on the server?

delete the web application?

i tried blocking the firewall inbound rules on port 80 on the web server but still there is access??

im only wanting it to be available locally on the server

Thanks

    Hi @Alz99

    A few suggestions:

    1) Shutdown access to the server via firewalls. My guess is that you have it in the DMZ of your network, where you can turn off access by closing port 80/443.

    2) Remove the DNS record from your Domain Controller or what ever device is in charge of the DNS for your sharepoint server. Then you can use the server's IP address to directly access SharePoint.

    3) Close Port 80 on the server's firewall (see Server Baba's answer). Ensure that you followed the same steps:

I closed the ports 80 & 443 on both sharepoint servers but still there is access?
