Azure Password Reset Authentication Methods

Hello,

We have MFA enabled for our users. We were then looking at enabling SSPR.

I changed the Authentication Methods under Password Reset to just Security Questions and it caused issues with the MFA. I logged a ticket
with support and they confirmed that MFA was using these Authentication methods.

My question is we would like to enable SSPR and have the number of methods required to reset to be 2, but if I change the number of methods required to reset from 1 to 2 will it then
reflect that change in MFA, requiring two methods when the users are challenged for MFA ?

Thanks,

    Hi @Stephen Bowden

If you enable it to be two methods you will not need to challenge it twice when logging in with MFA. When you set it to 2 methods it will require the user to register two different types for SSPR (so they have two different methods to reset their password).
