In Microsoft documents they said that Ad Cloud Sync support federation, So, How cam I use a federation with AD FS method to make it through cloud ad sync?

Cloud Sync is a sync engine similar to Azure AD Connect. It doesn't determine how your users authenticate which can be federation, PHS or PTA. What is requiring you still use ADFS for user authentication?

My question focus on knowing how can I use AD FS method through Ad cloud sync agent although during installing the agent and setup there is no option to use AD FS method through it.
