windows 11 22h2 snapscan scanner not working

after updating to 22h2, my fujitsu scanner 6110 no longer able to the scansnap software, as it is showed the device is not connected, while it is connected in the device manager, and i am able to use the build in windows scanner software.

    Please try the followings:

    1>Turn off your ScanSnap, wait at least 5 seconds and then turn it on again.
    If the icon status is not changed, unplug the USB cable from the computer or your ScanSnap, wait for 5 seconds, and then reconnect the USB cable.

    2>If your ScanSnap is connected via a USB hub, try connecting your ScanSnap directly to the computer via the USB cable.

    3>Try with another USB cable if any.

    4>Try another USB port.

    5> Run ScanSnap Support tool.

    6>Reinstall the driver. Delete the device driver from the Device Manager > Reboot > Reinstall updated driver.

    7>Uninstall and install ScanSnap Manager again.

    Fix for Fijitsu Scanners using Windows 11 24H2 - (Updated on Mar 21, 2025)

    Sign in to Windows with administrator privileges and follow the steps below to apply the cumulative update.

    If a scanner is connected to the PC via USB, disconnect the USB cable.

    Uninstall all PaperStream IP drivers installed on the system.

    Open the Settings app from the Start menu and click on "Windows Update".

    Turn on the switch for "Get the latest updates as soon as they're available" and click "Check for updates". (*1)

    Once the update is applied, restart the PC.

    Download and install the latest PaperStream IP (*2) from the download page.

    After installation, connect the scanner and confirm that the issue is resolved.

    *1: In some organizations, settings may be controlled to prevent changes. In such cases, try the device driver update procedure.

    *2: If you are using PaperStream Capture or PaperStream ClickScan, please use PaperStream IP (TWAIN).
