SQL Server environment was hacked 3 weeks ago and we installed SQL Server 2012 Evaluation edition. We are volume licensed customer and when we connect to Volume Licensing Service Center we cannot see SQL Server 2012 product there. We heard that SQL Server 2012 is not supported anymore through Software Assurance. We can download all the SQL Server products from SQL Server 2014 to 2019 but not 2012. There is no way to upgrade the product because of application compatibility and also it is very short notice to upgrade. What is the way to get Installation Media with the key?

    Hi @Batuhan Yildiz ,

For License issue, I suggest that you can consult professionals in this area. please call 1-800-426-9400, Monday through Friday, 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. (Pacific Time) to speak directly to a Microsoft licensing specialist. For international customers, please use the https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/licensing/worldwide to find contact information in your locations. Or you can go to Volume Licensing Service Center support. Please choose region/language and choose to call or have web. People there will help you more effectively.

Or you can buy the license key that is not embedded in the installation package to upgrade the SQL server 2012 edition. Please refer to How to upgrade SQL Server 2012 Evaluation Edition to Standard or Enterprise.

    Hope this could help you.

    Best regards,
    Cathy

I also have MSDN subscription provided by MS because I am MVP and I can see SQL Server 2012 SP4 listed. You need to contact MS if you do not see the required product. SQL Server 2012 is not out of extended support so you should see it. Since you have Eval edition you can also write mail to MS and just ask for Key
