I have a DLP Policy that contains a low volume rule which is there to detect low volumes of certain sensitivity data types like bank details, dates of birth ect..
The policy allows for a user to override the block if they provide justification which works absolutely fine in OWA but in the Outlook desktop client it never shows the override option. This is a matter for all users in the org. All users have fully up to date versions of Outlook.
Other policies we have DO show the override so I am lost as to why it doesn't work in this particular instance?
I've tried deleting the policy nudge files to make sure I am using the most up to date version but it makes no difference.

One thing I do notice is that the rule is not appearing in the PolicyNudgeRules file.. which probably explains why its not working in Outlook. Is there any way I can force this or refresh this policy somehow? Maybe i need to completely recreate the policy but before doing so i want to find out if there's anything else I can try first?

Ok, there are generally multiple reasons you dont see those:

I have found that some tips just never show up and there is no way around it :(
Bottom Line, make sure you are running the latest Outlook updates and if the troubleshooting doesnt work, it could be the tip will not show up ever and you may need to open a ticket with Microsoft to complain :)
