I'm sending old Veeam backups to Azure for archiving purposes. This is currently set up as a blob, but now I'm getting alerts that the storage account is at capacity (5.5TB). My understanding is that storage scales out automatically - am I wrong? Or did I set this up incorrectly in the first place? Any help is appreciated.

    Hi @Max Sturdy ,

I guess you are hitting the Azure Limits and hence getting the alerts standard is 5TB limit and you can ask for increase via the support call from the portal.

Also depends upon the files you are uploading as this is ingress so the limits will apply accordingly

    Hope this helps.

Thank you. It was my impression that Azure storage scaled automatically, apparently it does not. This seems like a bad design...
