migrate mailboxes between exchange 2016 servers

Hello,
I have a question about the migration of mailboxes in exchange 2016.
I currently have an exchange 2016.
Now I want to install another one in a remote location in the same AD domain.
Can mailboxes be moved between the two 2016 exchange servers?

    Hi @pazzoide76 ,

    Sure, because your two servers are in the same domain, you can create a local move request between the two Exchange servers to move mailboxes.

    Use the EAC to create a local move request.

    1. Open the EAC, navigate to the Recipients > Migration > Click +, select Move to a different database.
    2. On the Select users page, select the user mailboxes that you want to move.
    3. On the Move configuration page, enter a new migration batch name, select whether to move the archive mailbox, and select the target database.
    4. When the Start the batch page configuration is complete, click New.
